My first steps in a BLOG. A conclusion.
Looking back since I sarted this CAPACITACION, I can come to the conclusion that it was more than interesting and motivating. I have learnt a lot but I still have to polish many many things. Besides, I have to discover lots of technological resources that day by day emerge in the net.
All in all, by trial and error I coud do the tasks but in my opinion the FACE TO FACE MEETINGS with Pat are more than necessary.We need to do things together with Internet connection and then improve or keep on trying at home. See you all next year in our meetings!! Keep in contact BLOGGING.

Teaching Sequence
TEACHING SEQUENCE
OBJECTIVES:
To make Sts learn /or refresh the main aspects of THE RENAISSANCE through the use of some ICT tools.
CONTENTS:
Sts will revise the use of PAST SIMPLE through the different tasks(biographies, descriptions)
TASKS:
T will present Sts a video from you tube as a warm -up to the topic “The Renaissance”
While watching the video, sts will be exposed to some key words from these period. They will work in groups and each of them will investigate in WIKIPEDIA the topic they are assigned (EG:the plague, Da Vinci, Queen Elizabeth etc). After filtering nformation with the help of the teacher ,each group will make a short description or biography to share it with the rest of the class.
Then, they will work on a timeline where they are supposed to include the main worldwide events that took place around the period of the Renaissance.
At this stage teacher will focus the renaissance period relating only to art. she will show sts a video and a collage made by her as an example . They will be supposed to choose one of the two formats to work on a specific aspect (architecture. italian painters, sculptures, paintings, etc)
EVALUATION
T will evaluate all the process focusing on responsibility and creativity in the tasks.
After finishing all this steps; a class blog will be created to upload the timelines, biographies, descriptions, collages and videos. Sts can evaluate their own group production through this final blog.
